Airalo is an innovative mobile application designed to facilitate seamless connectivity for travelers. Available on the Google Play Store and App Store, Airalo provides a diverse selection of eSIMs, enabling users to access local and regional data plans without the necessity of physical SIM cards. The application’s key features include instant eSIM activation, competitive pricing, and extensive coverage in over 200 countries and regions. Users can manage multiple eSIMs, top-up data as required, and maintain uninterrupted connectivity while traveling. By utilizing Airalo, travelers can avoid the inconvenience of sourcing local SIM cards and the high costs associated with international roaming, making it an indispensable tool for maintaining online access globally.
An Airalo client approached us with a request to find influencers to promote their application in the Ukrainian market. We conducted a comprehensive survey and began selecting niches ideal for advertising this application, focusing on tourism, technology, and lifestyle.
We initially targeted travel influencers, whose audiences would find the application particularly relevant. Our selection process involved analyzing YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram influencers based on their engagement rates (ER) and view counts. Once we curated a list of suitable influencers, we submitted it to the client for approval. Following approval, we prepared briefs, coordinated scripts with the influencers, and awaited publication.
On average, each video garnered at least 50,000 views. We strategically selected influencers who were actively traveling during the advertisement filming to ensure the Airalo advertisement appeared as organic and authentic as possible.
Building on our success with travel influencers, we expanded our focus to technology and lifestyle niches. We chose influencers who review technology or explain how technologies, such as eSIMs, work. This approach also yielded successful results, with the client satisfied with the view counts, conversions to application downloads, using promo codes and in-app purchases.
After establishing a strong presence in the Ukrainian market, we extended our search to influencers in Kazakhstan and Georgia. Leveraging our experience from the Ukrainian market, we accurately identified influencers who would be a perfect fit. This enabled us to achieve substantial results quickly.
Upon completion of the project, our efforts generated over 2.5 million views, significantly increasing Airalo’s awareness in the markets of Ukraine, Georgia, and Kazakhstan. This heightened visibility led to a substantial number of application downloads, fulfilling the client’s objectives.
The strategic selection and collaboration with influencers across multiple niches and markets proved highly effective in enhancing Airalo's market presence. By targeting relevant audiences and ensuring organic content, we successfully elevated the brand’s visibility and drove significant user engagement.
